With Mother Nature to Beautiful Skin

Beautiful skin that has a youthful glow to it showing very little signs of aging is probably every woman's dream.  I am going to show you how you can use pure aloe vera gel mixing it with other natural ingredients to create skin-beautifying recipes.

The skin is our largest organ, so we have to take good care of it, carefully selecting the ingredients that we put on it.  The more natural and nutritious the ingredient, the more beautifying your skin will turn.

A little reminder: the skin is an excretory organ.  That means that some body toxins are released through the skin which can have an effect how our skin looks and feels.  So, if you want truly beautiful skin, follow these recipes below but don't forget to watch what your eating (less sugar, flour, coffee, black tea and alcohol and more natural antioxidants).

While studying massage I was introduced to a variety of oils learning about their benefits.   In addition to my passion for natural healing and which ingredients benefit our health and the health of our skin the most I have come up with a few natural skin care remedies which are easy to prepare. Because the ingredients are so pure and your skin is probably starving for pure and wholesome nutrients you should see an immediate effect.

All recipes contain parts pure aloe vera gel.  Since pure aloe vera gel is very cooling and moisturizing I do not recommend using it before going outside on a very cold winter day.

Beautiful Skin Care Recipes with aloe vera Gel and other natural skin-enhancing ingredients

Exfoliating Facial for Normal Skin

  • 1 tablespoon of plain organic yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed orange juice

Make sure you do use organic yoghurt. Mix well and apply onto clean face.  Leave on for about 20 minutes.  Rinse off with warm water.  Finish with pure aloe vera gel.

Exfoliating Facial for Dry Skin

  • 1.5 tablespoons of pure aloe vera gel
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed orange juice

Mix the pure aloe vera gel with the olive oil.  If you don't like olive oil at all you can also try this with pure almond oil. Add the freshly squeezed orange juice with pulp at the end.  Mix well and massage onto face.  Leave on for about 20 minutes before rinsing off with warm water.

Soft Skin Facial

  • 1 teaspoon of organic plain yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh cucumber puree
  • 1 teaspoon of pure and natural honey
  • 1 teaspoon of pure aloe vera gel

Did you know that the Egyptians already used honey as part of a beautifying bath?  Honey comes with a long list of remarkable benefits but make sure that you do use only natural honey for this facial.   For this facial mash the cucumber first.  Then you add the yoghurt, and at last the honey.  Blend well.  Apply onto clean face.  Sit back and relax for about 20 minutes before washing it off with warm water.  Apply aloe vera gel.

Beautiful Skin & Body Cream

If you want to achieve beautiful skin without the addition of chemicals try this recipe.  Since all ingredients are natural without preservatives I do recommend that you store your cream in cosmetic containers in a cool area otherwise the skin and body cream will spoil faster than you can use it up.

  • ½ cup pure almond oil.
  • ¼ cup emulsifying wax
  • ½ cup of water
  • ½ cup of pure aloe vera gel.
  • 1 teaspoon of pure and natural honey
  • 1 teaspoon of coconut oil

Mix the almond oil with the emulsifying wax and heat up in a double boiler preferably.  Leave to cool.

Mix the water with the aloe vera gel.  Slowly and with a wisk pour it into the almond oil/wax mixture.  You will soon notice how the texture will change.  Add honey and coconut oil and mix well.  If the cream is too thick add a few more drops of water.  Fill up the cream into containers and store in a cool place such as the refrigerator, for instance.

Moisturizing Hand Creme

  • ¼ cup of almond oil
  • ¼ cup of coconut oil
  • ¼ cup of cacoa butter
  • ¼ cup of aloe vera gel
  • 1 tbsp of beeswax

Beautiful Skin also means beautiful hands.  Dry hands marked by broken skin don't look very attractive at all, and it is a sign that your hands are starving for moisture and attention.  This is one of the skincare recipes perfect for dry hands, especially suitable for the winter months.  The almond oil, coconut oil and butter have a natural sweet scent to it.  If you would like to add some scent to your hand cream there are many different aromatherapy oils available.

Use a double boiler and melt the coconut butter and oil, adding in the almond oil and beeswax.  Once it has all melted you remove it from heat and set it aside to cool.  Once the mixture has firmed up a bit you pour it out of the pot into a blender.  Add the aloe vera gel very slowly while your blender is continuously mixing it with the oil mixture.  If the cream is too thick you may add a few drops of water.  Store in cosmetic containers in a cool place.
